With respect to the Federal Election today, the City of Sarnia has the following update of road closures for access to polling stations.
The shoreline repair work that closed Old Lakeshore Road last Thursday and Friday is complete, and this section of road will remain open. Work is ongoing at Waterworks Road for the Petrolia Water Supply System, and this section of the road will remain closed.
The road work on Telfer Road from Lakeshore Road to Blackwell Road is ongoing. The road to the polling station at Christ Lutheran Church at 6482 Telfer Road has permitted local access, and a road sign reads ‘Road Closed—Local Access Only’.
