Redevelopment of Germain Arena, Decommissioning of Jackson Outdoor Pool, and Development of an Outdoor Splash Pad

At its meeting held on September 30, 2019, Sarnia City Council deferred consideration of the application for the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program: Community, Culture and Recreation Stream pending public input for the following proposed projects:

The re-development of Germain Arena to an indoor multi-purpose facility and the decommissioning of Jackson Outdoor Pool and development of an outdoor splash pad.

A Public Meeting will be held on Monday, October 28, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. in Council Chambers for the purpose of receiving public input on the funding application.

Persons wishing to address Council at the Public Meeting are requested to notify the City Clerk’s Department at 519-332-0330 ext. 3320 or clerks@sarnia.ca on or before noon Wednesday, October 23, 2019 in order to be placed on the agenda, although anyone in attendance will be given an opportunity to address Council on this matter.
